Hon. Abimbola Oshikoya (ABOSCO) Donates Welcome Back to School Kits to Pupils in Ikeja Constituency 2
Hon. Abimbola Osikoya, the former Sole Administrator of Isolo Local Government and the current chairman of Omole Phase 1 Estate in Ojodu Berger, distributes school bags, notebooks, mathematical sets, pens, and water bottles to pupils going back to school in her constituency. In a way to ease the burdens on parents now that students are about to resume their various schools, Hon. Abimbola Osikoya, a passionate woman with a heart of gold, demonstrated this kind gesture to put smiles on the faces of the beneficiaries of her back-to-school initiative. In her words, she said “ I just want to support parents in my own little way to ease their burden on getting things they will need to give their children when going back to school, and this is also a way of giving back to my society." When speaking with journalists, Hon. Abimbola Osikoya said" I selected 10 pupils form each ward in my constituency, we got 200 pupils altogether and we gave them school bags, Mathematicalset, pen, dozen of exercise books (each person) and water bottles" “ Before, i usually go go to different schools to distribute school kits but today i decided to bring it down to my constituency. I really want this initiative to get to the grassroots because financially some parents may not be able to afford most back-to-school kits." “ Government is supporting education in their own way; Hon. Faleke is not left out in this. So I don't have to be a multimillionaire before I can support these people; that's why I decided that from the little I have, let me give it back to my society." “ I also want to inform you that next week I will be giving mothers in my constituency a special package, so watch out for it because it's a real special one."
One of the beneficiaries of Hon. Abimbola Osikoya's back-to-school initiative, Miss Ajayi Shemilore said” I am thrilled, delighted, and grateful to benefit from this initiative. Thank you, ABOSCO, for giving me this school bag." I pray that God will bless you, and may God continue to grant all your good heart desires in the name of Jesus. Amen.
Master Sikiru Tijani, a student of Ojodu Junior Grammar School, also benefited from the back-to-school initiative. In his words he said “ I feel pleased and am going to make good use of the school bag. I pray that God will give her more blessings, that she will not lack any good things, and that she will not have sickness that will take her to the hospital. Amen. I still want her to continue to give people things. “
One of the parents of these pupils who couldn't hide her joy and happiness when speaking to journalists, Mrs. Olusola Adeniyi said “ I was selected to be here through my NGO platform because I was very active. I am overwhelmed and am extremely excited because my child benefited from this initiative.
This school bag looks imported and expensive. Now that I've gotten the school bag and other kits that come with it for my child, it has made my expenses reduce. My prayers to Hon. Abimbola Oshikoya are that she will eat all the fruits of her labor, all her efforts on this earth will not be wasted, the Lord will enlarge her enrich her pockets, and she will not know a better yesterday in the name of Jesus.
